From vibe to live URL
I woke up, felt like knowing the tides, and decided to build a dashboard for it before lunch. I described the vibe — “calm, oceanic, glanceable” — to Claude Code and let it draft the components while I steered the layout and copy.
Tell me the tide and I forget. Show me the tide and I remember. Let me deploy the tide and I learn.
The data flows in through a Netlify Function so no keys ever touch the browser. When it looked right, I dragged the folder onto Netlify Drop and it was live before my coffee cooled.
What the agents handled
- Scaffolding the chart components and responsive grid
- Wiring the serverless fetch and caching layer
- Writing the tests I was too relaxed to write myself
What I handled
The taste. Agents type fast, but somebody has to decide when it feels right — and that somebody is a shrimp.
